David Macdonald
Interim Chief Executive Officer, GPC
David Macdonald is Interim Chief Executive Officer of GPC. He brings more than three decades of experience spanning technology, investment banking, insurance and financial services innovation.
He began his career in technology, building risk management and securities lending trading platforms, before completing an MBA in the Netherlands. He then spent 12 years at Barclays Capital in London, where he became a Managing Director in Investor Solutions and led the Retail Insurance Solutions business, working with life and pension firms on long-term savings propositions.
After Barclays, David advised MetLife across London and Dubai, and most recently served as CEO of a fintech that developed cloud-based platforms for life and pension providers and for structured product administration. He lives in Surrey with his wife and two children.
Claire Aquilina
Interim Chief Financial Officer, GPC
Claire began her career as a chartered accountant and auditor with Deloitte, building a strong technical foundation before moving into financial services. Over the following years, she held a series of senior finance roles across multi‑asset management firms, developing deep expertise in financial stewardship, commercial decision‑making, and organisational leadership.
In her most recent position as Group Finance Director at Brooks Macdonald, Claire led the Finance and Company Secretarial functions, fostering a cohesive, high‑performing team. She worked closely with the Executive team and Group Board, providing strategic and commercial insight, steering key corporate projects, and playing a central role in M&A transactions. Her leadership ensured robust governance, disciplined execution, and alignment with long‑term value creation.
Claire is known for her integrity, analytical rigour, and a measured approach to problem‑solving. She brings structure and clarity to complex issues, exercises sound, data‑driven judgement, and remains steady under pressure.
Away from the office, Claire can often be found at a Pilates class, enjoying a wine tasting, or exploring a new city on a weekend break.
Ángel Campomanes
Managing Director, Gibraltar GPC entities
Ángel Campomanes is Managing Director of GPC in Gibraltar. He is a senior insurance executive and actuary with more than 27 years of experience across Life, Pensions and P&C insurance, gained in international insurance groups and global consulting firms.
Before joining GPC, Ángel held senior leadership roles at Generali, Liberty, Aviva (6 years in Spain & 3 years in the UK), EY and Deloitte, covering actuarial, risk, capital management, internal & external audit, governance and regulatory engagement. He has advised CEOs and Boards, led multicultural teams and managed transformation programmes across multiple jurisdictions.
His experience for 6 years as Executive Director leading EY’s Actuarial Services practice in Spain was particularly relevant in shaping his strong commercial mindset, combining business development, client relationship management, proposal leadership and end-to-end delivery of complex consulting engagements for major insurers and financial institutions.
Ángel holds a degree in Economics, Business Administration and Actuarial Sciences and he is a Fellow of the Instituto de Actuarios Españoles.
Besides being passionate about his work, he enjoys staying fit, practicing outdoor sports, and continuing to climb mountains.
Keith Psaila
Managing Director, GPC Malta
Keith Psaila is the Managing Director of the GPC in Malta. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds two master’s degrees in economics and business management, following which he continued he studies in International Trusts Management. He began his career working within the Audit and Taxation departments of one of the Big4s and has subsequently held various senior management roles within operations, business development and finance across various different industries. Throughout his working experience spanning more than 20 years, he was also appointed expert to various business working groups of a technical and regulatory nature both in Malta and overseas.
During his 6-year tenure working for GPC Malta, and before becoming an MD, Keith was also responsible of the Finance, Administration, Reporting and Payments teams. During this time he has established a very good relationship network with the Maltese Regulator (MFSA), Banks, Investment Advisers and Investment Managers and has been exposed to a number of different challenging situations providing him with the necessary maturity and technical competence to drive the Malta business forward. Keith is also a member of the MARSP association which is the Association for Retirement Scheme Providers in Malta and the body which provides technical consultation to the Regulator on Personal and Occupational Retirement legislation.
Outside of work Keith loves spending time with his wife and two kids and enjoys playing the occasional football and tennis matches with friends.
Richard Prior
Managing Director GPC Premier SSAS
As a director of GPC Premier SSAS Ltd, Richard oversees all operational and financial aspects of the business. He has over 35 years’ of experience working in the pensions industry and has performed a wide range of senior technical, operational and outsource management roles within large financial organisations, such as AMP, Legal & General, JLT and Mercer. Richard is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and embedding a customer orientated culture, believing that everything we do as a business should be built around developing a clear understanding of what advisers and their clients require and ensuring that every interaction or transaction is made as quick and simple as possible for them.
Jonathan Cattle
Chief Technology Officer, GPC
Jonathan is a senior technology leader with more than 20 years of experience across financial services, insurance and digital transformation.
Most recently, he served as Chief Technology Officer and Non-Executive Director at Staysure Group, leading the technology strategy and platforms that underpinned significant value creation, with enterprise value increasing from £30 million to over £550 million. During this time, he played a key role in scaling the business, supporting acquisitions, modernising technology platforms and strengthening operational resilience and governance.
Earlier in his career, Jonathan held senior technology leadership roles at Premium Credit, Close Brothers and the London Metal Exchange, delivering transformation programmes, acquisition integrations and technology strategies within regulated environments. He has extensive experience working with boards, investors and private equity firms on funding rounds, due diligence and strategic growth initiatives.
Jonathan is particularly focused on aligning technology with commercial objectives, building high-performing teams and delivering resilient, scalable platforms that support growth and operational efficiency.
Outside of work, Jonathan enjoys rural life with his family, spending time with children, dogs, horses and livestock, and tackling the practical realities of farm life, from maintaining vehicles to managing land and grounds.
Abina Philip
Head of Group Risk, GPC
Abina is a Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of experience in the insurance industry, specialising in audit, risk management, and corporate governance. She trained with one of the Big4s, where she developed a strong foundation in financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and assurance services for a wide range of insurance and reinsurance clients. Following her time in external and internal audit, Abina transitioned into risk management during her time at GPC, bringing a proactive and strategic approach to enterprise risk and control frameworks. She holds a Certificate in Financial Services Risk Management from IRM, further enhancing her expertise in embedding risk-conscious cultures and supporting sound decision-making across organisations.
Currently acting as the Head of Governance in GPC, Abina leads the development and oversight of governance structures and frameworks, supporting board and executive functions, regulatory engagement, and policy adherence. She plays a key role in ensuring that governance processes are aligned with best practices, regulatory expectations, and the company’s strategic objectives.
Abina is passionate about strengthening governance and fostering transparency, accountability, and resilience across the organisation.
Bill Scott
Head of HR, GPC
Bill Scott is the Group Head of Human Resources of GPC. Bill has MSc in Human Resources Management, a bachelor’s degree in economics and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Bill joined GPC (formerly STM Group) in April 2019. Having spent the early part of his career in internal consulting and strategic planning, Bill moved into the HR arena and has spent 30 years in commercially orientated HR roles. Bill has Board level experience having held HR Director roles with both a UK and an international remit, predominately within the financial services and professional services industries.
Outside of family commitments, Bill is a regular at his local gym, enjoys most sports, and enjoys cooking, particularly in his ‘outdoor kitchen’.

Geeta Aheer is a strategic marketing and communications leader with more than 25 years’ experience across financial services, utilities and healthcare. She has a strong track record in building brands, shaping customer experience and delivering high-impact marketing strategies that drive measurable business growth.
Her expertise spans brand strategy, customer engagement, digital and CRM marketing, regulatory communications and large-scale transformation. Geeta has led complex programmes, secured significant investment, optimised marketing performance and delivered campaigns that strengthen market positioning, improve engagement and support commercial outcomes.
A collaborative and commercially focused leader, Geeta is experienced in leading cross-functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders and developing strong relationships across marketing, sales, product, compliance and external partners. She brings a data-led approach to decision-making, with a focus on operational efficiency, customer insight and measurable return on investment.
Geeta is passionate about creating meaningful customer experiences, driving change and helping businesses build stronger, more relevant brands for both B2B and B2C audiences.

Anthony Lowes
Business Development and Product Specialist
Anthony established his own law firm in South Africa before relocating in 2002 to Jersey (Channel Islands) to further his legal career. There, he gained extensive experience in the trust legal field, including second-chairing the Crown prosecutor in the Royal Court of Jersey.
After obtaining STEP and other relevant qualifications, he moved into Fiduciary Services and became Private Client Director at an international fiduciary firm, managing a large portfolio.
In 2010, Anthony moved to Gibraltar and has since worked extensively on the practical and technical aspects of tax-efficient structures for international pensions and bonds. His legal training informs his expertise in estate planning solutions, including the flexible annuities from LCA.
Paul Attwell
